TSB Pool Complex is looking for an enthusiastic person to provide effective swim tuition to our customers.

An opportunity has arisen for the Pool Complex to take on the right person looking to train up and obtain their Swim Teach qualifications. Due to a number of bookings already made for the summer, we are looking for that person who is wanting to take their next step in an aquatics career.

The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of the aquatics function while maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for the users. They will be responsible for delivering lessons for primary to intermediate aged school children so will need to be enthusiastic and deliver a safe and supportive experience.

Casual work will be on an on-call/as required basis. There will be no set hours.

The ideal person will have an understanding of life-saving methods, including resuscitation and will have experience in teaching school groups. A Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate and a swimming pool water treatment certificate would be an advantage.

Applicants must be aged 16 or above to be able to complete the qualifications.
